How many people can play?

Cowrie Circle is designed for 2 to 4 players per team. It works great with 3 or 4 for the most strategic depth. For larger gatherings, you can run two games side by side.

What age is it recommended for ?

Ages 12 and up. The strategy is accessible enough for teenagers and engaging enough for adults. It's genuinely fun across generations. Great for family game nights.

What does " Shake the Circle" mean ?

After all teams contributed, a "Shake the Circle" card is drawn. It can trigger rewards, losses, surprise events, or strategy shifts that change the direction of the game. It keeps every game unpredictable and exciting even for experienced players.

A standard game runs 20–40 minutes. First-time players usually take a little longer as they get comfortable with the mechanics. Most groups want to play again immediately after their first round.
